Interesting place. What does the metallic structure outside represent? Nice snaps of nature and the bridge

Thanks! I'm glad you all enjoyed the pics as much as i enjoyed taking them :)

Rajesh, The Art work (metallic structure) is a Huge Crab designed by George A. Norris, who has more than a dozen pieces of public art displayed in the Vancouver area. The sculpture was welded together by Gus Lidberg at a nearby West 2nd Avenue location.

Interestingly, In the First Nations legend, the crab is the guardian of the harbour and it was also the zodiac sign at the time of the Canadian Centennial which was 1967.

It's a fountain sculpture and is made of many separate parts in the shape of a crab and completely appropriate for Vancouver as we are a Coast City.

Hope that's helpful to you hun!

Sandy :)
